The Banquet, René Magritte
Welcome.
Finding a therapist you connect with is no easy task, and we often only start looking when the need for change already feels urgent. And yet it is important to be intentional. Keep searching until you find someone who makes you feel deeply seen—someone you can build a relationship with—because healing happens in connection.
As the daughter of Chinese immigrants, I like working with fellow children of immigrants who are navigating family expectations, clashing cultures, and intergenerational trauma—or anyone who was parentified as a child and now as an adult, struggles in relationships with boundaries or getting their needs met. I also work with people who long for closeness but find themselves stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, and fear of abandonment to help understand attachment patterns and move toward more secure, grounded ways of relating.
Please note that I only offer therapy for residents of Pennsylvania. We can do virtual, or in-person on Thursdays in South Philadelphia.
It is difficult to know if we will connect without speaking, but I hope the information on this site can help you decide if you would like to reach out.
