About

My style is nonjudgmental, affirming, and direct. At the methadone clinic I worked at, I had a reputation among clients both for telling it like it is and making them feel truly cared for. I work from a relational perspective, which means I use the relationship you and I develop as a vehicle for growth. Often, how we show up in therapy reflects how we show up in other relationships. By recognizing what unfolds between us in real time, therapy becomes an opportunity to notice patterns and practice new ways of relating.

My work is integrative and client-centered, which means I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, IFS, psychodynamic, existential, intuitive eating) and adapt over time based on what best works for you—because therapy should be personalized, not one-size-fits-all.

Ultimately, I believe therapy is as much about unlearning as it is about learning. When we can release mentalities that once served us but no longer do, we can step into a new way of being. This takes time. So while I’m open to brief, focused work, I also value a slower, steadier pace that allows for deeper change.
